Yesterday I had a great day of working with a small group of clients who are on a ‘years’ journey with me and in that time we cover NLP/Hypnosis/TFT and all sorts of to other things that have led to me being me.
Now part of our day was to design a ‘pill’ that could be prescribed by the NHS. So for want of better words we decided it would be the drug of choice and it would be a ‘happy’ pill and what’s more it would be prescribed by the National Happy Service, I mean how cool would that be.
So if for free you could get on the NHS the following:
Happiness, joy, health, fun, enjoyment, faith, trust, love, respect, self belief, great relationships, excitement, contentment and lots of other lovely stuff….
Would you take that pill….how long would the queue be, we decided it would be a long queue and that the majority would be happy to take the ‘happiness’ pill.
So have you taken yours yet? Because it really is that simple.
We have a choice to be unhappy versus happy. Now I am sure there are cries of it’s not that easy, so I will state again it is just a choice to take or not take the happiness pill.
We all know how easy it is to be sorry for ourselves to get in to the ‘woe’ is me frame and simply chose to stay there. So let’s be honest you are being ‘simple’ to make the choice to be in that frame.
Shit happens we all know that, shit will continue to happen now you can chose to bathe in it and all its nastiness or you could develop what my partner Eric calls a shit deflector; do you like the sound of that?
So when you take the ‘happy’ pill you will be actively associating to what feels really good, running movies in your mind in colour of things that make you really happy and make you feel good.
It is really quite simple the way you feel from moment to moment is a direct result to the way you are using your body, and the pictures and sounds your are creating in your mind.
So see yourself taking the ‘happy’ pill every morning, just before you clean your teeth and you might be surprised by how much better you feel now.
